Hurricane Milton is predicted to intensify to major hurricane status with predictions of category 4 or even 5 intensity on the scale that measures wind velocity. Add in the potential for catastrophic storm surge ahead of and during the storm’s impact, this weather event is one for residents of the affected areas to pay attention to.
