Report From The Field with Dr. Joe Holley on Kentucky Deployment

water-rescue-floodingDr. Joe Holley has been deployed with Tennessee Task Force One USAR team as part of the Federal FEMA response teams helping state and local resources in search and rescue efforts in Kentucky for over a week and a half. He checks in with us from the field to give us an update on what his teams are seeing and how the deployment is progressing.

If you haven’t followed this story, here’s a link to the original Kentucky flooding event, called a 1 in a thousand type weather event. We covered it right after Joe deployed in the podcast before this one. Here’s our episode link for that recording, Flooding, Flooding Everywhere on the Disaster Podcast.

Check out the photos from TN-TF1 shared to our Disaster Podcast facebook page here.

This episode is hosted by Jamie Davis and he is joined by weather and emergency management expert, Becky DePodwin.
