This week on the Disaster Podcast, in part 1 of a two-part episode, we will be looking at one of the premier disaster response NGOs (non-governmental organizations) in the country and probably the world right now, Team Rubicon. Podcast co-hosts Jamie Davis, the Podmedic, and Sam Bradley are joined by long-time regular Dr. Joe Holley to chat with Dennis Clancy, Deputy Director of Response for Team Rubicon. Dennis is also a U.S. Army veteran.
In this two-part episode, Dennis talks about the structure of Team Rubicon and how they work to respond to disasters. We also talk about the origins of the organization and what services they provide. Find out more about Team Rubicon at TeamRubiconUSA.org. Check out next week’s episode where we look at how the team training is effected and how deployments are arranged.
