Flooding Claims Responder’s Life
Last week, the flooding claimed many lives including the life of an Oklahoma first responder involved in rescue activities. We talk about the inherent dangers in disaster response for civilians and responders alike. What can we in the response community do to better prepare ourselves for these events when they occur and how can we prepare our families for these situations, too? We’ll talk about that on this week’s episode of the show.
Again, a special thank-you to Paragon Medical Education Group for their continued support of this podcast as our partners in this endeavor to bring disaster medicine to you. Check out their page and educational resources that can help your system be more prepared for what happens in your area.
