In 2018, Paramedics Plus, the 911 ambulance provider for Alameda County, sent resources to Paradise to assist with emergency medical services and the search and rescue task force. The strike team provided mutual aid and helped with evacuations, including hospitals and nursing facilities during the most devastating fire in loss of life and property in California wildfire history.
On the show with co-hosts Sam Bradley and Jamie Davis are Dr. Joe Holley from Paragon Medical Education Group and paramedic Mike Marsh, director of operations for Paramedics Plus, Alameda County, California. Mike comes on the show to discuss the use of ambulance strike teams in mutual aid response to the Camp forest fires in northern California late last year.
