This particular event caused severe blizzard conditions in Colorado, stranding thousands on the roads there for hours. In the midwest, it turned into a severe rain event where it caused record flooding in the Missouri and Mississippi river valleys.

On the show this week are co-hosts Sam Bradley, Dr. Joe Holleydisaster weather expert Becky DePodwin, and Jamie Davis.
