collapse_crush_injury_buildingOn this episode of the Disaster Podcast, hosts Jamie Davis, the Podmedic and Sam Bradley are joined again by Dr. Joe Holley to pick up with part two of our series on Crush Injury management. In Part One of the Crush Injury series, we talked about the pathophysiology and common presentation of the crush injury patient.

In this second part of the series, we get Joe to pick up where he left off with a look at assessment and monitoring of these fragile patients. Then Joe shifts to the treatment of crush injury patients in the immediate minutes after extrication and then the ongoing monitoring and treatment seen in the hospital setting.
